I’m RC, a nonbinary bench jeweler trained and currently working in Portland, Oregon.
I work with sterling silver, gold, and platinum, and I am proficient in lost wax casting, 3D modeling in Rhino, fabrication, and multiple types of stone setting. I absolutely love working with my hands and problem-solving my way through new and complex projects. I also enjoy spending days mindlessly carving wax and seeing what happens. I have completed both of the 16-week courses currently available at Portland Jewelry Academy and have tested out portions of an in-development 16-week fabrication course with instructor Jason Chandler. I have also completed the 1-week Platinum Practical course.
